A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

A bite-sized clone of Pong, programmed in Python using pyGame. The game is small in both install size and in it's display, which is a microscopic 128x96 pixels. You can choose to play either a normal mode, or speed-up mode, in which the ball gets faster the more each person scores. Play against a friend with simple, four-button controls or play solitaire-style against yourself.

*A standalone executable for Windows will be released soon!

*Mac is not supported, I don't have a Mac and thus can't code for one or test my programs on one, that said: the game might work on a Mac computer, let me know.

Install instructions

Until I make a standalone executable, you will have to install Python 2.7, as well as pygame, from the links below:

If you're running Ubuntu, or pretty much any other Linux distro, you probably already have Python 2.7 installed, in which case you just need to install pygame. You can install pygame in Ubuntu via the command below:

sudo apt-get install python-pygame

After those steps you should be able to run paddles on either your Windows or Linux machine by double-clicking the script in Windows, or running the script from terminal or a shortcut in Linux.
